KNOLLWOOD'S 80th ANNIVERARY CELEBRATION — Sunday June 13, 2021

Save the Date!  Knollwood’s 80th anniversary is fast approaching.  With 80 years of God gathering us together as a church there have been many ups and downs, but there is one constant … God is good.

We are making plans to gather in some capacity on June 13, 2021. Our special guest speaker will be Rick Buck, the Regional Director of FEB Central. Other plans are taking shape and will be shared closer to the date.

For more information about the 80th anniversary, or to submit your story of God’s faithfulness online, click here 80th Anniversary Campaign and Celebration

FAMILY WORSHIP — FROM THE NEW CITY CATECHISM

Question 37:  How does the Holy Spirit help us?

Answer:  The Holy Spirit convicts us of our sin, comforts us, guides us, gives us spiritual gifts and the desire to obey God; and he enables us to pray and to understand God’s Word.

Children's Answer:  The Holy Spirit convicts us of our sin, and he enables us to pray and to understand God’s Word.

Ephesians 6:17–18

And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God, praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication. To that end keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints

WAYS OF GIVING TOWARDS KNOLLWOOD

Thank you so much for your faithful giving!

Ways of giving while worshiping from home:

  • Go to https://www.knollwood.ca/pages/giving to give online via debit card or credit card.
  • Put your offering envelope in the mailbox at the church's east doors.  Beth will be checking regularly for mail daily around 1 p.m.  If you didn't get a chance to pick up your 2021 envelopes, just use a regular envelope and write your first and last name on it.
  • To support the 80th Anniversary Special Offering, indicate on your offering that you are including an amount for the 80th Anniversary.  If giving online you can set up a separate donation to the Anniversary fund.

YOU'RE INVITED!  25TH ANNUAL LONDON CHRISTIAN PRAYER "BREAKFAST"

For the past 25 years, Londoners have been gathering to pray over our great city. People from all walks of life have set aside political and religious differences to seek God’s blessing on those who lead us, serve us, employ us, and protect us, as well as the vulnerable among us. In these days of pandemic, we are particularly grateful for our front-line workers and we will be praying especially for their protection and well-being. Attendance at our last in-person prayer breakfast was 800 but this year the pandemic has called for creativity so for the first time since 1996 the London Prayer Breakfast will go virtual. Obviously, that means we can’t serve a meal, but it also means you don’t have to buy a ticket. The 2021 Prayer Breakfast is absolutely free – all you have to do is register. So please follow the link below and sign up for an exciting, and very different, prayer breakfast from 7:30 – 8:30 am on May 20th. And, while you are at it, why not invite a few friends and co-workers to join you?  Register here
