As we start to get back to a more "normal", we are trying hard to get some of our ministries up and running.
We are seeking to start NURSERY to serve our young families, but need people who want to pour into the youngest of our church family.  If you are interested in serving in this way, please let us know

HOST Teams  Do you like to smile? Are you welcoming? Then we have a spot for you.  Our HOST Teams serve in our hospitality from greeters, ushers, to our cafe.

Lots of help is needed for the FALL BBQ!  Barbecuers, servers, set up and clean up crews.  What a great way to meet people and get involved.   Let us know if you are willing to serve in this way.

Don't see anything for you, but still want to serve? Let us know and we can share with you some other opportunities to serve within the Knollwood church family.

Do you ever look at the Old Testament and wonder if the laws, that seem so burdensome,  are still relevant today? Join us as we walk through the 10 commandments, and come to realize the truth of 1 John 5:3 which says “for this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments. And his commandments are not burdensome.”

This will be a 10 week class beginning on Tuesday September 21. It will be offered at two different time slots, 9:30am for those women who can attend during the day,  or at 7pm for those women who are available in the evenings.   Led by Stephanie Klahsen.

Question 1:   What is our only hope in life and death?

Answer:  That we are not our own but belong, body and soul, both in life and death, to God and to our Savior Jesus Christ.

Children's Answer:  That we are not our own but belong to God.

Romans 14:7–8  For none of us lives to himself, and none of us dies to himself. For if we live, we live to the Lord, and if we die, we die to the Lord. So then, whether we live or whether we die, we are the Lord’s.

Thank you so much for your faithful giving!

When worshiping in person, you can place your offering on the plate at the back of the auditorium.

Heartfelt thanks to all who donated to the 80th anniversary fundraiser.  By God's amazing grace we have raised $65,930.  See Pastor Nate's post on the Anniversary Fundraiser for more details.

The plight of minorities in Afghanistan has been tenuous for generations but, as the Taliban have been sweeping across the country capturing cities and provinces, their situation becomes more dire with each passing day. Many have gone into hiding; many have disappeared. Afghani Christians are at great risk and they fear for their lives.

Please be in prayer for the people and country of Afghanistan

  • Pray for perseverance, courage, and strength for believers who will not be able to flee Afghanistan. Pray that they would stand firm in their faith in Christ, especially in the face of the reality that they may very well be martyred for their faith.
  • Pray that Afghans desiring to flee their country would be able to do so safely.
  • Pray that churches in Canada would be able to establish many sponsorship groups to welcome and care for Afghan refugees.
  • Pray for peace in Afghanistan.
