David Noble – Deacon Nominee
For those who don’t know me, I have been attending Knollwood since 2001. I am married to April Noble and we have 2 children: Dekker and Aria. I have served and been involved with Knollwood in different areas over the years, but am still drawn to the ministry of being a Deacon/Elder. Over the past year I continue to realize the importance of serving and shepherding our members at Knollwood. Recently I have seen God grow me in patience and kindness as I seek to disciple my children well. By His spirit, He has helped me to notice opportunities to teach Biblical truth in every-day situations. As a family we are learning what true discipleship looks like and God has blessed us to be able to see our children responding and growing in prayer and serving one another.
Although I am a shy person by nature, God is continuing to impress on me the importance of coming along the members of Knollwood and to disciple and be discipled, and to actually have meaningful Biblical conversation with each other.
It is important to proclaim Jesus’ name to the world of non-believers, but it is also important to grow in maturity as believers, and I seek to be a part of that at Knollwood. We are fully justified through Christ, but we should be continually working on our sanctification. My goal is to continue in discipleship and growth with each other through the study of God’s word, intentional prayer, and worshiping together; regardless of title or ministry position.
