Super Bowl Sunday...February 3 The teams are set for next Sunday’s Super Bowl LIII - the New England Patriots will take on the Los Angeles Rams in Atlanta. Doors open at 6 pm, kick off time is at 6:35 pm. Please invite your friends, family and co-workers to join us for this great time of fun and fellowship. Pizza, snacks and drinks will be provided, but you are also invited to bring your favorite Super Bowl foods to add to the spread that we will be providing.

Knollwood Income Tax Clinics Volunteers are needed for the Knollwood Community Volunteer Income Tax Clinics. Clinics will be held on Saturday mornings in March and April from 9 am to 12 noon. We require tax preparers to help our neighbours submit their tax returns. Training is available, no prior tax preparation experience is needed. However, you need to register with CRA to participate. It takes 30 days to register with CRA, therefore the deadline to volunteer is February 3rd. If you are interested please contact Kevin Knight at 519-630-4352 or by email at [email protected]

Young Women’s Bible Study We offer a Bible study for young women every other Monday at 7 pm and the next one will be held this Monday January 28th. If you are interested in knowing more about this study and where we meet, contact Brenda Albion at 519-457-6875.

“Coldest Night of the Year” Mission Services of London will be holding the annual walk of ‘Coldest Night of the Year’ on February 23, 2019. This is a family friendly walk to raise money for charities serving the hungry, the homeless and the hurting people within our city. Forever Young Spring Bus Trip You can now get your tickets for the seniors bus trip that will take place on May 4th for $70 per person. Bus will leave May 4th at 9 am sharp! See Ann Chapman after the service for your tickets. More details about this trip will be posted as the event draws near.

“Games Day” We’re back! Forever Young are planning on having a “Games Day” on January 29th at 10 am for a morning of fun and fellowship. Please bring a bag lunch, and “lug a mug” with you. Nexus Youth: Odd Jobs needed (SNO Camp Fundraiser) Do you have some odd jobs that you’ve been meaning to get done that you just haven’t found time for? Then Nexus youth has a solution! We have many youth wanting to go to SNO Camp but they need to raise some money. If you are willing to donate some money towards their retreat then we can get some youth to help with your odd jobs. We just need to know what the job is, how many youth you will need and how much you will donate. You can get some tasks completed and help send a youth to SNO Camp! You can either email Matt Freele: [email protected] or sign up at the Welcome Centre.

Office Administrative Substitute Our office administrator Karen, will be away from January 19-February 3. Gay Bolton has kindly volunteered to fill in for Karen while she is away but the church office will have modified hours. Karen will be back in the office on February 6.
