Knight & Princess Royal Banquet

Saturday, November 17th from 12 noon to 2:30 pm there will be a free “Royal Banquet” for children and adults of all ages here at Knollwood. There will be food, special devotional time, fun activities, prizes etc. Help is needed for the banquet. There are opportunities to help over the next few weeks as well as the day and evening before the event. Come on out and enjoy some fellowship and fun as we celebrate that we are all sons and daughters of the one true King! Please see Lisa Lapp for more details. A registration sheet is also available in the lobby.

Induction Service...Mark Your Calendar!

On Sunday, November 4th we are planning on having an induction service for Pastor Nate which will include guest speakers, Tim Strickland and Steve Forsey.
Then following the service, please join us for a family potluck luncheon to continue to celebrate together! We are looking to sample your favorite family recipe and would ask you to bring enough for 10-12 people. Last names between A-L bring a salad/main course while M-Z desserts!

With Sincere Thanks

Thank you to our church family for helping us through this difficult time in our lives. Your prayers and thoughtfulness are greatly appreciated and continue to uplift us. God Bless: Donna Tolchard, Pam & Mark Toth and family.

Samaritan’s Purse Shoeboxes

Today is the kick off for the shoeboxes and can be picked up in the lobby at the display table along with information. Here are a few ways where you can help:

  • pack a shoebox
  • donate items to be packed into a shoebox
  • donate money to purchase items for the shoeboxes (money can be given to Lisa Lapp)
  • donate money to help with shipping, envelopes are on the display table and receipts are issued by Samaritan’s Purse for shipping donations of $20 or more.
  • Pray!

Things to remember when packing shoeboxes/donating items: No used items, no food/drinks, no liquids or gels, no war related/scary items, no owl (many cultures consider owls to be a ‘bad omen’). For a list of suggested items, see the display table. The last day to bring in your shoeboxes to Knollwood is Sunday, November 11th. If you have any questions, see Lisa Lapp. Thanks for helping to show God’s love in such a practical way.
