Nursery and Children's Ministry

Newborn to Grade 5

Children's Ministry on Sunday Mornings

Children are extremely important to us at Knollwood. Nursery and classes are offered for children of all ages. Here's some information to help you and your children on a Sunday morning.

Newborns to Pre-School
Newborns to Pre-School

Children from newborn to pre-school are welcome to head to the nursery before the worship service. To protect your child, we use a matching tag system for children nursery to SK. You can register your child(ren) right here to save time at the Welcome Centre. Simply go to the Welcome Centre and type in your phone number, if you’ve registered before, into the tablet and follow the prompts. If you prefer to register at the Welcome Centre with a volunteer, you are more than welcome too. A name tag along with a corresponding tag will be printed out for you and your child(ren).

These tags allow us to release the child only to the bearer of the matching tag. Should an issue arise in which we require your assistance, you will be notified by text or in person. Simply go to the back of the auditorium and speak to an usher or go directly to your child’s classroom. Nursery is available beginning at 9:45am at the East end of the hall on the lower level.

We use the same nametag system for children in JK to Grade 5.

Children in grades JK-5 join their families in the main auditorium for the beginning part of the service and are dismissed later to their classes. They will exit the main auditorium doors to their classrooms. If you’re visiting for the first time, feel free to walk with your child down to his/her classroom.
