Anchored Hope: 1 Peter 1:3-5

We all put our hope in something.

A new purchase. A future plan. A better version of ourselves.

But sooner or later, those things fade, break, or disappoint.

So where do you find a hope that actually lasts?

In this Easter message from 1 Peter 1:3–5, we look at how the resurrection of Jesus Christ gives us something radically different—a living hope that is anchored, secure, and unchanging.

Because Jesus rose from the dead:

  • We are given new life through God’s mercy

  • We are promised an inheritance that will never fade

  • And we are guarded by God’s power until that promise is fulfilled

This isn’t wishful thinking.

This is a certain hope grounded in a historical reality—the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

The question is:

What is your hope anchored in?
